Sister Projects

We are actively reaching, with mycelial threads, for others with whom to build relationship and with whom we can “tie our roots together” (Sophie Strand) in the creation of a vast underground network of people, projects and organizations in a rhizomatic network of decolonial healing.
Our Partnership

ERE x Rooted

Education For Racial Equity and Rooted Global Village is joyful to announce a partnership of love, sisterhood, and community building in service of somatic abolitionism and collective liberation.

We are alive during a time when all people are needed, on all levels, to enter into the work of personal, relational, communal and cultural liberation. We’re in a time of global reckoning, in which our bodies are being called into greater engagement with the historical events and cultural turns that continue to impact upon the lived experiences as oppression of people today.

Our ability to meet this moment in history turns on the cultivation of an embodied anti-racist culture that begins with each of us – individually and collectively – in these bodies to contend with what we have embodied through experience and what we actively wish to cultivate for future generations.
Culture building happens through a living practice in relationship. It is through these bodies - individually and collectively - that we remake the world.  We need places and spaces of ongoing support and community as we tend to our shared purpose of healing lines of division.

We’re Reworlding Together.

Developed over time and through a recognition of multiple areas of service and support in this shared vision to contribute to culture creation.

As we begin the messy process of (un)learning what we’ve embodied through family and culture, people need a shared foundation of understanding of our current situation, how we got to where we are now, and what’s needed to create new culture together as we heal lines of division and uproot systems.
“When a system is far from equilibrium, small islands of coherence have the capacity to shift the entire system.”
